| TOYING
AROUND
Welcome to Toying
Around, Evolution's section devoted to toys, gifts, and other fun
merchandise created in Mako-chan's image. Most of these items are
things I saw on the Web, since I recently sold off a good deal of
my Sailormoon merchandise... but maybe it will give you some ideas
of things to get for yourself!

Sailorjupiter
Beauty Change Doll
OK,
this doll is one I actually still have, and this is a really
snazzy one, too. I've exercised restraint and not taken it
out of the box, but from the diagrams on the box, you can
see that she comes with a dress that fits over her fuku. The
dress has a little pull-ring attatched, so that when you pull
on it, the dress flies off and reveals her sailor fuku. A
cute simulation of the henshin phase! The doll in the pic
isn't my doll, however, because I didn't feel like cramming
it onto the scanner. ^_^

Sailorjupiter
goes italian? Well,
you could say that, in a sense. For those of you who have
a near-obsession with food like I do, these crazy people here
in the USA have made our loveable inner senshi into canned
pasta shapes. So, naturally, our friend Mako has been made
into pasta too. You can see the shapes by clicking the thumbnail.
SJ's shape is circled in green in the full-size pic.

Sailormoon
Cooking Playset
This
isn't exactly a Sailorjupiter toy per se, but I kinda felt
that is was at least somewhat aimed at Mako-fans, seeing as
one of Mako's favorite activities is cooking. You'll notice
that on the box, there's no sign of Mako-chan anywhere. It's
just Usagi and the freakin' Starlights. Sure, THEY can be
on the box, but the company decides to leave the REAL cooking
afficianado of the series off of it! Is that an injustice
or what? ^_^

Sailorjupiter
Dream Pocket Doll
These
dolls are seriously cute! They're 6 1/2 inches tall, and the
sailor fuku on each senshi is fully-decked out with shiny
metallic skirts and bows! And they even come with a snazzy
pouch that the doll fits inside of, in case you feel like
carrying her around for good luck or something. ^_^ Yet another
item for your wish list!

Talking
Sailorjupiter Dolls
Yes,
these gorgeous dolls actually talk at you! And don't they
have the neatest sparkly outfits? There are actualy 2 series
of this doll, which is why there are 2 dolls in the thumbnail
at right. Oh, to have one of these! What? You actually thought
this was MY collection? Bah! My collection is far too pitiful
to be shown online! ^_^

Sailorjupiter
Paper Doll!
Here's
a special treat for you: a Sailorjupiter paper doll! How to
get yours? First, follow the thumbnail link, and print out
the doll sheet. Then you should glue it into some stiff cardboard
or something of the like, so the doll will stand up better.
Then, cut out the fashions (but don't cut off the tabs!) and
you're ready to go! If you want some extra outfits, click
here and print out the pic.

Sailormoon
R Mini UFO Catcher
This
is my other Sailorjupiter toy in my pseudo-illustrious collection!
And she's being squashed into the scanner. I'm such a tyrant!
::grins:: This is a MINI UFO Catcher, meaning that it's smaller
than the regular UFO catchers. But isn't she absolutely kawaii?
I used to have the whole set from Sailormoon R, which is all
the Inners and Pluto. Woo hoo!

Makoto's
School Fuku
Yet
another spiffy accessory for you doll fans! This is, quite
obviously, Mako's school uniform that she wore while attending
Juuban Junior High. I was kinda impressed by this doll outfit,
because it actually looked a lot like the actual uniform,
IMHO. But hey, maybe that's just me. ^_^
