#1a: My stuff is mine! Everything used here is m-i-n-e, unless otherwise noted. Don't ask me if you can use anything, because I'll say no. If the image isn't mine, then go to the place where I found it and ask them for permission, because I did, and you can too.

#1b: Things that aren't mine, aren't mine! The images in the gallery AREN'T my images, so guess which ones you can have? Also, you're allowed to use anything in the Free Pics page, as long as you link and credit this site.

#2: Notes on the Seal of Gratitude: First off, this is NOT an award that you apply for. It simply must be given to you from another person who appreciates your friendship. So no "self-nominations," please. Second, THIS IS NOT A WEB SITE AWARD! I don't care if you worked hard on your page, it won't help you get the Seal.

#3: Paint Shop Pro 5 and Photoshop rock. When it comes to image editing, I swear by these two applications. Photoshop is a very powerful application for image manipulation, and PSP5 is a user-friendly and cost-effective alternative. I use one or the other for all my graphics, backgrounds and whatever else.

#4: When viewing Hourglass... this page is best viewed in True Color, in Netscape 4.0 or better. This site is friendly for multiple resolutions, so if you've got one of those tiny monitors, then never fear.

#5: What will NEVER be used here: I do solemnly swear that you will never see those wretched DHTML scroll arrows, scrolling status bar messages, or hear a background MIDI when you view this site! I have better things to waste my time on than annoying the living crap out of my visitors.

#6: I really AM a nice person! At least, that's what people tell me... so please don't make a nice person into a not-nice one by sending me a brainless flame. Constructive criticism is fine, flames aren't. Besides, I have a fairly large vocabulary, and am very capable of embarassing you. ^_-

#7. Other devices used: Nothing particularly fancy here... I write my HTML from scratch using TextPad, which is basically Notepad with cool color-coded tags, and some handy search-and-replace features and other stuff that's great for programming. Sometimes, when I'm feeling weak, I'll use Macromedia Fireworks to do some slicing for me, and also for some occasional image editing. I do beta-testing with Netscape and I also test in IE5, just for posterity.
